We teamed up with Angel Gallardo and Neil Coles to design a Championship golf course capable of hosting European Tour events. The goal was to create a world-class course that could challenge top players while showcasing the natural beauty of the area.
The course opened in June 1999 and quickly made its mark by hosting the 1999 Sarazen World Open just months later. It also hosted The Spanish Open in 2000 and 2009.
